private sessions

When you're in the thick of it,
knowing what to do next can feel overwhelming.
Let me help you with those next steps.

I am your dedicated postpartum empath.

I am not a life coach, or a therapist. I am a community leader who has had the privilege and honor of being part of hundreds of dialogues around issues surrounding pregnancy and postpartum — from postpartum mood disorders, to loss of libido and sleep, to pelvic floor issues, to birth trauma, and so much more.

I come from both lived experiences and anecdotally from the countless conversations I've had with women who have also gone through this journey. My own story together with those from my work with the motherhood community informs my mentoring process.

What our time together can do:

What we want more than anything on this harrowing part of the motherhood journey is feeling seen by someone who truly knows what you're going through, with ZERO judgment and perhaps some guided next steps towards healing. The conversations we have in the safe space of Not Safe For Mom Group are a wonderful way to feel connected and seen, but sometimes we need something MORE; something specific and actionable for ourselves. Our private work together will help clarify and guide you towards taking those next imperative steps— wherever and however you need it.
Why I do this work:

First-time motherhood for me looked like this: I had zero support, had no other friends with babies, was recovering from a traumatic birth experience from an emergency C-section, and fell into a dark period of postpartum depression. I swam in what felt like a muddy lake of doom for weeks.
        One day, my husband described how I'd been acting to a high- school friend of his who was also a mom. Having experienced postpartum depression herself, she knew something was very wrong, and immediately came over. She asked me questions and validated the despair I was feeling. She held my baby (along with hers), while I cried— and recommended I see her psychiatrist.
       I believe this woman is one of the reasons I am still here today. I needed someone to see me, to hear me, and to be in my corner. And for fuck's sake — to point me in a solid direction.
      Coupling my postpartum trauma with 10+ years being a journalist, speaker, and leader in the motherhood wellness space has connected me to the best resources, communities, specialists, and healers around.
I can't wait to share these amazing spaces and humans with you!
